Fun with Beaded Beads
We had big fun making beaded beads. The biggest challenge with these little guys is holding them. The number of things we thought we would do with them was huge. I think this might have been one of the most fun classes. Maybe it was because you had a finished product in a very short period of time. Keep making them ladies. Let's see some necklaces!!!

New Addition
I have added a "Students ROCK" section to your right. Check it out. If you can get photos to me or I will be happy to take them we could have a slide show going of YOUR work. I think this is important as many new students are intimidated by beading and it's great to show them what you are doing as "new beaders". If you like your name mentioned, I will do that, but otherwise you will remain annonoymous. Many of you have created awesome pieces, so lets do a little bragging shall we.

Earn FREE Beads
Now that I have your attention, here is the deal. I was in the gym this morning and was thinking about some of my friends that need a bit of assistance in workout motivation...so here it is. Any student of my class or teacher who works out 6 times earns free beads. Not sure what they will be yet, but we all need to think very serious about our health and the stronger we are the longer we can bead!!!!!!! So, let's get beading and biking, walking, lifting, climbing, etc.!!!

What's New?
Let me know what new things you beaders are working on. I'm making a very difficult piece for a friend of mine in Hood River. I did get the hard part done; the rest is easy. Will photograph it when complete. I'm also working on a beaded bead choker and a funky linked circle necklace. Okay, so what are you all creating?

Photos of YOUR work
Send me photos of your work, and I can post them on this blog. You need to put them in Picasa and I will download them here. This will be a great way to show other beaders what you are doing and learning.

I'm blogging...I'm trying to keep up with my 12 year old
Hello fellow beaders and jewelry lovers. I'm setting up a blog so you can stay in touch with me and other beaders. And, I'm trying to stay cool as I age.
I'm currently collecting ideas for upcoming classes and events. Please contribute. I also have a new shipment of seed beads that I am bringing home with me from Oregon.
So, the year should be fun.
